Back Up Your Progress

Progress stays in this browser. It does not transfer automatically to another device or Home Screen installation. Keep an export as a backup.

To keep a backup, open Settings and choose Export Save under Your Device, Your Progress. It saves a small file you can keep anywhere. To restore it, on this device or another, choose Import Save and pick that file.

Play Offline

On your first visit, Straits Mahjong downloads what it needs in the background. When it has finished, Settings › About & Offline Status says:

Ready Offline. Lessons, practice and local games are available without a connection.

The other games’ music downloads the first time you play each one online.

For a full-screen app, use your browser’s Add To Home Screen option. On iPhone, it’s in the Share menu.

Updates

New versions download by themselves and never interrupt a game. When one is waiting, close every Straits Mahjong tab or window, then open it again.

Your Data

Straits Mahjong has no account and keeps your progress on your device. The details are in Privacy & Your Data.
